TIDAL BEING BOOKS is a writing and illustration collective devoted to diverse stories rooted in inclusion, empathy, and kindness. Our books connect children to the natural world and to one another, reflecting the tidal, interconnected nature of being human.

We celebrate difference. We embrace representation. And we center experiences that have too often been overlooked in traditional children’s literature—creating stories where more children can see themselves, and learn to see each other, with compassion and belonging.
